PepperDash presented on two leading edge topics at the quarterly gathering of the New York AV User Group hosted by BlackRock on April 18, 2013. Enterprise AV asset management and advanced automation have become big areas of interest, in the post-AV /IT convergence world. PepperDash’s VP/CTO, Sumanth Rayancha shared insights on large-scale asset management and Help Desk operation based on Crestron Fusion, as well as related network architecture and implementation considerations. He also provided an overview of issues and benefits related to personalized AV automation using user authentication via RFID. Founded in London, the New York AV User Group is an organization of AV managers from investment banks, financial institutions, universities and other large-scale consumers of audiovisual technology.
